The couple will begin renovating the tiny kitchen bathroom, electricians dig the trench for the new generator, their dilapidated slider door will be replaced, and the plumber will locate their service lines.
The couple continues to renovate the tiny kitchen bathroom; their old kitchen and pantry floors are ripped out, they finish restoring the kitchen cupboards, and Rob discovers a treasure load of Lake Stones.
New floors are installed in the pantry, kitchen and small bathroom; new wiring will be installed in the restored shed; a whimsical mural is painted on the park side of our shed; and I'll be dealing with the return of our worldly belongings via PODS, plus much more!
Rob salvages the old laundry room cupboards, plumber Scot Guifoil replaces the water heater, Rob restores the old cupboard doors, and electrician Shayne Remito from Magee Electric replaces the 60amo service with a new 200 amp service. and Rob builds a new graduated wall of cupboards from restored wood, plus much more!
The old kitchen sink and countertops are ripped out and replaced by new white Quartz ones. Also, a new kitchen faucet has been installed, and Magee Electric will install a new generator and shed lights. And Rob tiles the kitchen backsplash. All this and much more!
Rob will cut butcher block countertops in the snow, repurpose old bifold louver doors, and Barb will paint the dining room furniture and reupholster the chairs. All this and much more!
Rob will insulate the restored shed, cut paneling in a heavy downpour of rain, and apply his special paint to its walls. Next, Barb chooses a wonderful stripped wallpaper for the upstairs bathroom. And Rob will hang it. All this and much more!
Rob and Barb paint the two remaining exterior sides of the restored shed; Rob & Marvelous Marvin pour a concrete slab; Rob unearths Medina Stones; Marvelous Marvin digs out stubborn bush stumps; and Rob surprises Barb by grass seeding the backyard. All this and much more!

Rob & Barb take their viewers on two Flashback segments: Building a Lazy Susan Display Table in the Heirloom Custom Toy Shop and creating a free lending library for their son, Seth, and his family.

Episode 22 documents the beginning stages of the 2nd Floor restoration that Rob & Barb planned. Rob starts by tiling the risers with the old tile Barb found in a dusty basement of a recycle shop.
Rob & Barb takes the viewers upstairs, where we're ripping up carpeting, installing new trim, replacing old doorknobs and adding three new ceiling lights.

Rob increases the size of the living room fireplace mantle with 5/4" aged cherry wood found in an old barn. He demonstrates how old-time carpenters create the illusion that mitred boards look like one solid piece of wood.
Rob & Barb always wanted a classic-design Garden Arbor that would be an inviting entrance to their front yard. Watch Rob select pressure-treated wood from a big box store and secure the four main posts as 'Part 1' of the construction.

With Christmas only a week away, Rob and Barb fight the clock to get three decorative evergreen trees planted near the west side of their property. They selected a Green Juniper, Golden Cypress and Blue Juniper from a local nursery. Then the rain came and they decided to have them do the planting before they close for the season.
Watch Rob & Barb assemble and install a 21-foot aluminum flagpole in the middle garden of their front yard. When completed, they proudly fly our beautiful American flag and the World Ocean Flag
Rob & Barb fulfill their dream of having a gazebo erected over the backyard patio. With the help of Marvelous Marvin, Rob and he install a 10x12 foot aluminum gazebo that will be the future gathering place for family and friends to enjoy cocktails and Barb's gourmet food.
Rob installs a sloped Lake Stone pathway under the Garden Arbor. Then, the Halloween Pumpkins arrive and the Ghosts and Goblins enter with the
Ladies of the Neighborhood!
Rob builds a pergola with four 4x6x8 ft posts with trim base plints anchored to the house, four stylized braces weighing over 20 pounds each supporting three 2x6x14 ft rafters with 22-2x2" Plins spaced evenly to them. Rob used a round-over router bit on all wood components to give the finished pergola a classic appearance designed purely as an aesthetic architectural element.
Rob takes the viewers on an early 2026 Spring Tour of their yard, including the three evergreens planted the previous autumn.

Around 2:00 AM on Friday, April 18, 2025, Rob woke to the sound of breaking glass inches from his head as he slept in bed. After close examination, Rob and Barb are convinced that the unique-looking stone is indeed a Meteorite. Also in this episode, Rob builds solid mahogany shelves to display his daughter Jenifer's collection of Ironstone platers.
